William King Jungala 1968-2007

William's work drew heavily on his connection to land and culture, often incorporating elements such as fire, air, earth, and water — symbolic of the harmony his people sought with natural forces.

His evolving body of work earned national and international recognition, including selection for exhibition at the Gallery of Greater Victoria in British Columbia, Canada, during the 1994 Commonwealth Games.

Throughout his career, William exhibited widely across Australia, and his works were collected globally. His paintings continue to resonate for their depth, detail, and spiritual intensity, offering a profound reflection on Indigenous identity, heritage, and the natural world.

Sollai Cartwright

Sollai Cartwright is an Australian sculptor specializing in Carrara marble and bronze. Born in rural Victoria in 1988, he trained in traditional carving techniques under Italian artisans in Pietrasanta. He returns annually to source his marble from the historic Carrara quarries, the same source Michelangelo used for masterpieces including The David and The Pietà. Based in Melbourne, Cartwright creates abstract forms inspired by nature, viewing his practice as collaboration between artist and material.

His work has been exhibited internationally, including Sculpture by the Sea, Art Central Hong Kong, and Australia House London. His sculptures are held in distinguished private collections across Australia, Europe, and Asia.

Gloria Petyarre 1942-2021

Gloria Petyarre, also known as Gloria Pitjara, was one of Australia's most celebrated Indigenous artists. Born at Mosquito Bore on Atnangkere country in Utopia, Northern Territory, she belonged to the Anmatyerre language group
and hailed from a distinguished family of artists, including her aunt Emily Kame Kngwarreye and sisters Kathleen, Ada Bird, Nancy, and Violet Petyarre.
