Mina Mina is a women's Dreaming site far west of Yuendumu, on the border of the Tanami and Gibson Deserts. The story tells of a great gathering of ancestral Napanangka and Napangardi women who travelled east from that place, dancing and performing ceremony as they went. They carried karlangu, digging sticks, and gathered bush tucker along the way, and in doing so they shaped the country itself. This Dreaming is shared among many Warlpiri women artists, each carrying forward a version of that long walk through the land.
