Sarrita's father, the late William King Jungala , was an artist who came from the Gurindji tribe. The Gurindji lands are about 460km southwest from Katherine. Sarrita regularly travelled back to Katherine and the surrounding lands as a child and now brings her family to these special places. These paintings are a reflection of the beautiful and varied landscapes found when traveling to and around the Gurindji landscapes.
